OBERLAND PARK DEVELOPMENT

Eagle Scout project
Alex brought two different kinds of sign materials to review. the more expensive one has two layers of pl should plastic with the top layer routed to show the bottom color for the wording so detail would not show up as well, the other material is less expensive is a heavy pvc plastic coated with metal but can be done with graphics and any color but could fade but probably not with being installed in the woods with little sun, decision was made to go with the metal coated one Alex plans to construct the information board at home with the scouts it will then be installed to the left of the trail entrance board offered to help with installation if needed

Ballfield dugouts
Roger met with rec board who have been discussing materials cost, prices have gone up since 2007 when estimates where first calculated fencing for a a good quality 6’ fence will now be $15,00 recommend 6’ fence over a 4’ fence for players safety when going after fly balls $20,000 for dugouts without labor, stone or drainage
Outhouse
Roger will reconfigure the cost of the outhouse for next meeting as will no longer include storage space as storage units were added to the dugout
Rout 87 and auburn corner
how much will the corner property bring in of someone wanted to purchase? If sold can a 150 foot frontage along the road remain Township and just sell the back 2 acres that way we can still collect taxes on 2 acres, the front acreage might be enough to build a memorial Need to ask the veterans where they would like to Memorial constructed. Roger motioned to have someone Attend the Next Trustee Meeting to ask trustees to hold off making the decision until all options have been exhausted or we get more input from residents and what they like to see Wayne seconded Wayne will attend meeting
Pavilion lighting
Kiwanis would like to pay for solar lighting for the Pavilion, Roger would like to wait on that decision as power may be needed for the outhouse and if should run the power back we can use for pavilion too. so a decision was tabled until next meeting
