History Written in Stone

Sat, July 22, 20171:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Explore this historic cemetery and discover that there is more to a cemetery than cold stones and the dearly departed. It’s a history museum, wildlife refuge, botanical garden and art gallery. This is an outdoor program, so please be prepared for the unpredictable summer weather. The program will still be held even in light rain, but will be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms. The cemetery is on State Route 44, just North of Pond Road.  This program is presented by Geauga Park District, in collaboration with the Newbury Township Bicentennial.  Please call the Park District at 440-286-9516, visit the Summer 2017 issue of Voices of Nature, or visit their website at www.GeaugaParkDistrict.org for additional information.
